What if the Q magnets get hot?

All magnets have what’s called a Curie temperature and a maximum operating temperature. For neodymium magnets, the key temperature to remember is 80 °C (176 °F).

The biggest risk for magnets is allowing them to sit in a car in the hot sun, which can lead to temperatures above 80 °C and damage the magnet.
